【摘要】:ThispartofIEC79:-givesinstructions,principallyofatechnicalnature,ontherepair,overhaul,recla-mationandmodificationofacertifiedapparatusdesignedforuseinexplosiveatmospheres(otherthenminingapplicationsorexplosiveprocessingandmanufacture);-isnotapplicabletomaintenance,otherthanwhenrepairandoverhaulcannotbedisassociatedfrommaintenance,neitherdoesitgiveadviceoncableentrysystemswhichmayrequirerenewalwhentheapparatusisre-installed;-assumesthatgoodengineeringpracticesareadoptedthroughout.NOTE-Muchofthecontentofthisstandardisconcernedwiththerepairandoverhaulofelectricalrotatingmachines.Thisisnotbecausetheyarethemostimportantitemsofexplosion-protectedequipmentbutratherbecausetheyareoftenmajoritemsofrepairablecapitalequipmentinwhich,whatevertypeofprotectionisinvolved,sufficientcommonalityofconstructionexistsastomakepossiblemoredetailedinstructionsfortheirrepair,overhaul,reclamationormodification.
