【摘要】:Thispracticeisdesignedtoaidthoseinterestedintheengineeringpropertiesofroofingmembranes.Thedataobtainedwillnotpermitpredictionoftheservicelifeofamembraneunderfieldconditions.Thedatawillprovideabasisforstudyofthemechanicalpropertiesofthemembrane.Notethatifstrainrates,specimendimensions,initialcleardistancebetweenclamps,ortemperaturesandmoisturecontentsarevaried,thedatamaynotbestrictlycomparable.1.1Thispracticeisaguidefordeterminingtheload-strainpropertiesofroofingmembranesandtheircomponentsatvarioustemperatures.Testspecimensmaybepreparedinthelaboratoryorcutfromsamplesobtainedinthefield.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
